Early to mid-1800's hand colored map of India region IV, published by Charles Knight & Co for the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. Charles Knight worked for the Society in the late 1820's. Subsequent versions of the map were published by other companies in the mid-1800's. The India IV map highlights the Bay of Bengal, Gurry, Fort Droog, Hill Fort and Nuddy River. This is in excellent condition for its age with very small tears at the bottom edge. Unframed, stored in a cardboard tube for safekeeping.
