Antique Eyeglasses, GOLD FRAMED VICTORIAN BIFOCAL SPECTACLE GLASSES, Possibly 10K Gold, Original Case Included

We believe these glass frames are 10k gold, based on similar glasses that we have sold over the years. These have not yet been gold tested, however they will be over the next few days. They are possibly American Optic, by the looks of them. There is a mark on the underside of the nose piece, (shown in the close-ups), but we are having trouble figuring it out what it is! Please call for the test results, if you are interested in bidding.

These are a bifocal type vision correction. Additional lenses are glued onto the lower portion of the glasses for magnification.

The glasses are 4 1/2" wide. The lenses are 1 5/8" by 1 3/8". Case is 5 1/4" by 2 1/4".

Notes: Please view the numerous, detailed photos for an accurate appraisal of item condition. The lenses are scratched, particularly the left lens with is badly gouged. The ear wires are bent. The cloth covering of the metal case is worn, shredded and missing in areas. And it's rusty where the metal is exposed.
