A pair of antique estribo stirrups, likely of South American origin, featuring stunning silver overlay with intricate floral and scrollwork engravings. These wide, bell-shaped stirrups showcase fine craftsmanship, characteristic of 19th to early 20th-century equestrian gear from the region. The detailed floral motifs and engraved accents are complemented by the functional yet decorative open arch at the top for saddle attachment. The closed-toe style also includes an openwork hole at the toe, for drainage and debris removal.
Notes: Displays an aged patina consistent with its vintage origin, including areas of tarnish and wear to the silver. One stirrup exhibits a small split along the wood base, a natural result of age and use. No maker's marks are present.
Consistent with age and use.
