Item Description

Antique Containers: 2 Aluminum Milk Cans & 1 Maple Sap Bucket. One large U.S. NAVY Milk Can With a Lid & a Lid Chain is Marked "USN Nicro":This would be a great canister in a country kitchen. It looks like a traditional milk can, but it is made of substantial aluminum and is very well made. It stands about 11" high (not including the bail) x 8" diameter and holds one gallon. I believe this is actually a vintage cream can made for the United States Navy, probably for WWII. The lid is attached with a chain so it can't be lost and the canister has a wood over metal handle. The other Milk canister has no lid but yes to a handle and the large metal sap-catch pail has a thin tube spout.

Condition

Consistent with age and use.
