ANTIQUE CA. 1895 WALTHAM Men's Pocket Watch- Size 16- Porcelain Dial- Running Order

A fine example of an antique WALTHAM pocket watch, circa 1895 and in a fine state of preservation. It is a sharp and very clean watch, with a porcelain dial with sub-register for seconds, hefty case, and strong working movement. With the exception of several surface scratches to the crystal [they can easily and cheaply be buffed out], it looks great! The crystal is original to the watch- thick glass for durability, with a beveled edge. The movement is accessible by screwing off the front of the watch, revealing a hinged dial that swings out. It opens half way , but did not want to force it, so left it be. The movement is running and it keeps good time, so a non-issue [the hinge likely needs to be oiled]. A great antique pocket watch!
