Antique Apothecary Bottle-Clear Glass With Square Block Stopper Labeled Aqua Lavand: OPT:
Not 100% certain but we believe this foil label means it had stored inside: a solution (or water mixture) of lavender. This apothecary bottle's origin is England circa 1870-1880's. On the bottom of the bottle is a maker's mark of a circle with "7 / 6/ and Co" in raised lettering. The bottom is concave curve upwards into the lower part of the bottle. There are two pressure fissure lines / crack lines inside the glass up around the neck. You can't feel them from the outside- they are inside the glass.
The bottle is 8 1/4" tall and the block stopper adds another 1 inch of height. The bottle is 3 3/8" diameter.
Consistent with age and use.
