Antique 19th Century ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA Griffin Smith Brown & Green Grape Plate
c. 1870
The glaze is beautiful shades of Cocoa, Green & Teal
The back is blind embossed with GRIFFEN SMITH & HILL ETRUSCAN MAJOLICA Marks
There is also the #24 printed in black in the unglazed spot.
This is an outstanding example of AMERICAN Majolica Pottery from 1879 - 1892.
Made in Phoenixville, PA. - USA
The plates measures 7"
The plate is in Excellent condition without chips, cracks or crazing.
