Item Description

A VERY early pocket watch, dating to the last quarter of the 18th century [circa 1780], likely English. The case is silver, the dial porcelain with ornate hands. High relief convex crystal, with a flat top seat for better viewing. The movement is superb. We do not the key to test it [these watches were key-wind], but the fly wheel is not locked up, so a good chance it will run with a winding. Please refer to the photos for further details. Nearly 250 years old!
