Antique 1895 Edition of US Geological Massachusetts Topographic Map Prescott, Enfield & Greenwich. This is a reprint from 1928, just before the three towns were flooded to make Quabbin. It shows the towns that are buried under Quabbin Reservoir. The Quabbin Reservoir is the largest inland body of water in Massachusetts, and was built between 1930 and 1939. Along with the Wachusett Reservoir, it is the primary water supply for Boston, 65 miles to the east, and 40 other cities and towns in Greater Boston. The map is approximately 3 feet long and two feet tall. It is in fair copndition as seen in the photos.
