Antique 1880s Beaded Victorian Woman's Mourning Shawl

Absolutely stunning beaded Victorian mourning shawl. This piece captures an incredible time in American history. This beaded shawl is believed to be a morning shawl and would have been hand decorated by a skilled artisan. Please review the photos as it is important to understand that is a very old item and does have some specific wear. The fabric is deteriorating in some places, specifically where it would be experiencing the most stress from its own weight - like the shoulders. The beads have also come away in some places, again most likely caused by its own weight. Despite this the piece still cuts an incredible figure and certainly has potential to be salvaged.
