Back reads: Szene from the Castle-Park of Sanssouci about 1750-1760
The pastoral plays, performed in the castle-parks of the Rococo,
were a favourite amusement for grandes Dames and Cavaliers.
They were cultivated with spirit and charm and were part of the
abundance of the Rococo and of the
Happy Century.
One finger from both male and female. Broke off at one time.
Can be restored easily
