Item Description

These antique wooden paddles were used to clean out the seeds from the cotton with the metal combing teeth. They were also used to clean out impurities from wool and straighten the fibers. The paddles were made by L. Swatson & Co. of Leicester, Mass. They are in good condition and measure 10 1/8" by 9".
