Item Description

Hard to find antique pre-Civil War era pocket bibles, dating to 1841 and 1852. The red covered bible is in excellent condition [1841], with marbled end pages and a personal inscription. The black bible [1852] has a cover tear at the buckle [when the owner tried to place the buckle in sleeve], but is otherwise a wonderful period example.
