Item Description

Description:A Pair Of Framed First Edition Pink Rose Prints ~ From Original Work Of P.J. Redoute.

The lovely prints are from the original work of Belgian Artist Pierre Joseph Redoute ( 1759-1840 ). The artist was known for his paintings of roses and other flowers. He was also a botanist. Redoute contributed over 2100 published colored botanical color plates depicting over 1800 different species. His father and grandfather had also been painters.
