A Beautiful Vintage Chelsea Pillar & Scroll Federal Clock

A beautiful vintage Chelsea Pillar & Scroll Federal clock with a mahogany case in its original finish, with a broken-arch crest, brass finials, an 8-inch painted metal face with black numbers, rose and filigree corners and pierced black metal hands. The clock has brass 8-day spring-driven movement (the same style movement found in ship clocks), balance wheel, lever escapement and half-hour strike on a coiled gong. The clock rests on French-style feet with a wavy apron below a reverse-painted tablet featuring pink roses. Excellent visual condition; untested for time-keeping. Approx. 24.5" tall, 13" wide, 5" deep. Please see pics.
