Brass pieces are finished with an evolving patina so that each piece reflects the owner’s personality and lifestyle. Over time the surface appearance will slowly evolve and change. Created by using an acid wash and then applying a light fixative.
Shallow spun brass charger evokes the calm waters of Capilano Lake. Each piece of Martha Sturdy’s work is handcrafted in her studio in Vancouver, Canada.
