Item Description

Chinese snuff bottles were used during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to store powdered tobacco. Smoking tobacco was illegal during this era, but the use of snuff was allowed for medicinal purposes. The bottles are small and designed to fit into the palm of the hand.
