Item Description

35 Piece Tuscan Yellow Majolica Hand-painted Italian tea set and table wear - Florentine Roster Makers Mark

Scalloped edges, green bands on the top rim and bottom of the tea cups. Decorated with green bands around the top and bottom rims. It is beautifully hand painted with a large floral decoration of light purple, red, and blue flowers with green leaves. There are smaller sprigs of flowers around the raised rim of the bowl. The base of the compote has a large floral decoration on each side.

This set is believed to be an original CANTAGALLI piece. Although un authenticated it bears the correct makers mark, the correct timeframe and identical designs as an original. Wiser pottery minds will determine it’s origins. Nevertheless, the winner of this auction is going home with a gem!!! Congratulations!

Notes: Some edges are chipped due to the gentle scalloping, all pieces still usable

• Be kind and considerate. Please park on McMullen Ave., Owen St., James St., or East Ave. Parking on Soundview Ave blocks access to the many pedestrians walking to the park and beach along with being on the edge of a curve in the road.
