Item Description

My favorite is the Beatrix Potter "Gentleman In Waiting" music box by Schmid (1985). This music box plays "Tomorrow" from the movie Annie. Box is 7"H & 4"W. Looks like a tiny chip in the corner of his newspaper. The next one is "Gentleman in Snow" from Beatrix Potter’s Appley Dappley Nursery Rhymes. I believe the date on this one is 1987. Same size. These 2 are made in Japan. Finally there is the Cat Family music box by Schmid which seems to possibly have one figure missing (glue remnants on base). this was made in Sri Lanka. clearly the Beatrix Potters are the valuable items. All 3 still play music.
