A beautiful example of 19th-century English transferware, this blue and white platter features the timeless Willow pattern, showcasing intricate scenes of pagodas, bridges, and birds in flight. The platter is unmarked, a characteristic of some Staffordshire pottery from this era, and it exudes the charm and craftsmanship synonymous with antique English ceramics.
Notes: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. It displays crazing typical of its age, minor discoloration, and a small glaze pop on the border. There is some light wear to the transfer design, adding to its authentic vintage appeal (see photos for details).
Consistent with age and use.
