Later after his political campaigns he became a beloved elder of the Republican party and his daughter Nancy Landon Kassenbaum became a US Senator from Kansas. One of the Letters does come with a COA claim by the initial seller. One is from 1965 and addressed directly to an admirer, the other is from 1978 and is on letterhead of his then company. Clear pen signature on signed and framed Photo (strong indicator).
