Fun estate find in this 100yr anniversary newspaper from the Kingston Daily Freeman, celebrating 100 years of publication with a reprint of its first and most important front pages of the paper back to when it was called the Rondout Freeman, originally published October 18th, 1871. In addition to the reprint of the original paper, the 1971 publication includes copies of headlines related to the beginning of World War 1 & 2, Kennedy's assassination, copies of letters received from the White House, President Nixon, congratulating the paper on its anniversary, and a host of other celebratory and congratulatory articles. A fun read, very clean overall probably not too many of these survived 50 years now.
