Item Description

Tamami Shima (1937-1999) was a well regarded Japanese artist. There is little known about her despite her being mentioned favorably in James Michener's 1962 book "The Modern Japanese Print". Yellows, greens, and a pop of blue make this image colorful but calming. Image size is about 9&7/8" x 14&1/2". Size below is total framed size. Pencil signed and dated beneath the image. Nicely matted and framed.

Notes: Residue beneath the glass.
