Beautiful 1940 - 1950 Mahogany Secretary Drop Front Desk with Top Display & Book Cabinet.
4 drawers, 84 3/4" tall. Multi-purpose for you & your family's enjoyment - offers you a desk to write letters, storage cubbies to store and organize your important papers, bills & invoices, and a spacious top display cabinet with decorative fret work on the glass doors has lots of shelf space for collectibles and/or books. In the lower section are 4 large serpentine-front drawers for storage of linens, photo books, and medium to large household items.
The Desk's slant front door opens to a large writing surface and 12 adorable interior cubby holes & drawers (including 2 secret / hiding compartments!). Comes with a working Key for the Desk Door & the Cabinet Door. The top crown is a beautiful curving broken arch of handmade mouldings whose top opening surrounds a lovely 9" 7all urn-shaped finial. Finally the four legs are adorned with classic ball & claw feet.
The traditional slant front Desk section offers a writing space area of 30 1/4" Wide x 22" Deep. The 4 serpentine front drawers have working locks. All brass drawer pulls are decorative medallions with lifting brass hoops.
Overall in VERY GOOD, attractive appearance. Please study my photographs for a few minor spots or scratches - these are truly commensurate with age and hard to see.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES FOR PICK-UP:
- Every buyer MUST wear a mask and bring their own pen for Invoice signature purposes.
-Please ONLY 1 Buyer inside the main Pick-Up room at a time.
- If there is a buyer ahead of you, or Auction Staff members near you, please keep at least 6 feet in-between each other in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines.
- All of our personnel will be wearing the appropriate protection gear at the time of pickup.
• Winning Bidders must bring help if required for carrying large/ heavy items & please bring your proper packaging materials (boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, furniture blankets, etc) if needed for pickup.
• Packing, Moving & Transporting of your items will NOT BE PROVIDED upon pickup.
