Yat Ming (formerly called Yatming), is a die-cast car model maker, much like Matchbox. The company is based in Hong Kong. Yat Ming Industrial Factory Ltd was founded in 1970 by Mr. Wai Ming Lam. Yat in Chinese means "best or number one". The Ming portion came from the founder's "middle name".

The company started out making muscle cars, European sedans, and transport trucks from the USA in the early 1970s. In the mid 1970s, JRI. Inc. (Road Champs) purchased the tractor trailer designs from Yatming and began marketing them under the Road Champs name in the 1980s. In the late 1990s, the company moved towards making more realistic models, and moved away from it's toy-maker roots.

A series of hardy line of signature die cast models is featured by this brilliant and major model manufacturer which has its headquarters at Dong Guan, China. They not only offer the largest collection of die cast model cars but also their replicas assembled by a multitalented workforce providing prompt services at affordable prices. The Yat Ming Company has produced many American model trucks and cars including Ford, General Motors, Chrysler and other for over 30 years with premium accuracy and authenticity. There is deftness in touch of the intricate die cast models manufactured by their company that reflects invariably excellent finish and detail.

The Yat Ming Industrial Factory Ltd manufacturing the Road Signature die cast models was founded by Mr. Wai Ming Lam in 1970. The company first initiated with making of European sedans, muscle cars and transport trucks during the early 1970s from USA. Later in the 1990s it started out with the construction of realistic models and is now recognized as one of the world's leading manufacturers of quality die cast collections.

Based in Dong Guan, China, the Yat Ming workforce is housed onsite, standard for most factories in China.

The Company's workforce includes over 500 prototype model makers, technicians, engineers and production staff and a total space of over 5,000 square meters, giving them the capacity for four full assembly lines. They specialize in collector grade die cast models and resin casting handmade models. Their equipment includes mold making machines, injection machines, white metal casting machines and dustless painting rooms. With their own manufacturing facilities and dedicated team of employees they are able to produce models in any scale with high precision and quality. Their major market includes Central, South and North America, Japan, Korea, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Road Signature Diecast models include both 1:24 and 1:43 scale model fire engines and 1:18 and 1:24 scale model cars, trucks and limousines. They provide sturdy quality of excellent ranges of models at reasonable prices and are highly reputed amongst collectors.
