Item Description

Staffa is an island of the Inner Hebrides in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Helensburgh is an affluent coastal town in Argyll and Bute council area, Scotland. Taken from a 19th Century book, (CHROMOLITHOGRAPHY PRINTS OF SCOTLAND: ITS CITIES, LAKES AND MOUNTAINS), these chromolithographs retain wonderful color and are matted with visible 3.5" x 5". Matting may be cut to fit frame. Matting is approx. 8" x 10". Chromolithography became the most successful of several methods of color printing developed by the 19th century.
