Reverse: The value in English within a wreath of laurel: ONE QUARTER ANNA. Between the tips of the wreath is the value in Persian:"Yek Pai" = One Pice

Around this the legend: EAST INDIA COMPANY
All within a raised, plain rim.

- These coins exist in both medal and coin rotations.
- KM 446.1, large open loops in ribbon & larger font on Reverse
- KM 446.2, small closed bows on ribbon, smaller font on reverse. Many varieties exist for this type, number of berries, size of ribbon, shape of leaves, font etc.

Coin comes in a small plastic coin holder.
