Item Description

#18/Framed 1911 Gelatin Silver Print, Avenue duBois de Boulogne, Paris, Photographed by Jacques-Henri Lartigue. At 17, he took this photograph of a finely dressed woman walking her dogs along the Avenue des Acacias, a tree-lined thoroughfare in Paris. Though this and his other images may seem lighthearted or informal, and were originally intended for his and his family’s amusement, they capture the changing fashions, culture, and street life of Paris in the early 20th century. Framed has some marks consistent with age and movement. Print Information is enclosed in the envelope tape to the back of the frame. Print is in Excellent Condition. Please see all photos as part of the description and condition. 21"W x 17"H
