(1749). Tasso's Jerusalem Delivered: W.C. or Godfrey of Bulloihn. An Heroic Poem. Done into English, In the reight of Queen Elizabeth, by Edward Fairfax, Gent. The Fourth Edition, with a Glossary, and Index. Printed by J. Purser, London. Calfskin leather hardcover bound with five bands on spine. Board covers have decorative embossing, front cover detatched. Spine, binding and pages intact. Front

1751. The Free Holder, or Political Essays by Joseph Addison, Esq. (1751). Printed for J&R Tonson: London. 311 pages. Leather bound hardcover. Spine gilt lettering, tooled five raised bands, gilt double border on front board. Decorative endpaper on back of front board. Spine cover is cracked and title missing, binding and pages intact. Edges of papers have discoloration, some foxing throughout. Front right endpaper has adhered clippings.

(1775). Philosphical Enquiry into the Orgin of our Ideas of the Sublime and Beautiful, the eighth edition, with an introductory discourse concerning Taste, and Feveral Addition. Printed for J. Dodsley, in Pall-Mall. 342 pages. Calfskin leather hardcover bound with decorative gilt bands on spine. Front and back boards show slight spilts at seam. Spine, binding and pages intact. Foxing present. Endpapers have pencil markings and stickers reading "Arbury Library".

(1791). The Man of Feeling [by Henry Mackenzie]. New Edition. Printed for A. Strahan; and T. Cadall: London. 279 pages. Calfskin leather hardcover bound with faded decorative gilt bands on spine. Title piece has detached, but is tucked inside front cover. Front and back boards show slight spilts at seam. Spine, binding and pages intact. Discoloration of paper noted, especially of endpapers. Endpapers have pencil markings and small sticker reading "Spottiswoode".
