Really nice piece - thanks.

Pick up was a disaster. They were not organized at all and cars were lined up on a main road. Lots of angry drivers trying to get past. Once on the property, if you got your stuff loaded up, you were trapped in the driveway waiting for everyone else to load. Very frustrating and unorganized.

I found the sales ran by pickers alley always very unprofessional and unorganized.

Pickup was disorganized at first as though they hadn't figured out how to get cars in and out of a very long one car width driveway. A couple of the helpers were rude and bossy, even asking me to back my car out of the driveway about one block long because they hadn't planned well. I refused. Another helper scolded me for no reason telling me I "had to listen to them" which I was doing. Manners people. The guy directing traffic was great though I must say, and a other staff were polite and helpful. They brought my items to my car another plus.

This is for Millbrook Country Auction: Everything went well until pick-up. We had one large item to pick up and we immediately located it. The cabinet doors were securely locked and the key that was clearly included in the auction and necessary to open the doors wasn't with the cabinet.

When I checked in I asked for the key and the person doing the check-outs said they didn't have the key. Since I printed out the auction photos with the key on the invoice, that wasn't going to fly. Oops. Then they said that they'd deliver the key but since I live about 100 miles away I was pretty sure that wouldn't happen, then another helper came by and said pretty much any skeleton key would work. Nope. Then the manager offered me a refund or take it as it was and they would see if they could locate the key which was given to another customer.

Shortening the story the manager phoned the person who had the key and told me that the customer would mail it to me. Ugh. So I got the name and phone contact number of the person with the key deciding to drive to wherever we needed to go to fix the problem and fortunately the key folks decided to stop to have lunch and we were only about 15 minutes behind them. So we raced to the eatery where they were dining to get the key. After a 2 hour one way drive to pick up this auction item this was a really unfortunate event but all's well that ends well, we have the key not much thanks due to the auction handlers. That key should have been properly labeled and/or taped securely to the cabinet. Not great guys. Not great.
