A pen and ink drawing, signed, had been "given" - or something - to "another buyer" by "accident". Nick Hatch said that he would retrieve it and get it to me. He has not done so, and will not respond to repeated inquiries about the status. He was operating under the CHES banner at the time. I have contacted CHES, submitted the requested explanation, and have heard nothing. My question about this one is: might this be a drawing with some value to it - which was lateralled to another client, retained by Hatch, or in some way kept from me because its true value could be much greater than what I paid for it. Even the simplest and most innocent explanation constitutes fraud, and failing the delivery of the picture, this won't be solved until an independent appraisal is forthcoming.

2 items not delivered. Auctioneer and I agreed they were not delivered. Nick Hatch, auctioneer, has responded not at all to repeated requests for information/delivery/refund. I contacted Clearing House Estate Sales, received a request for information, which I sent in detail, and have heard nothing from them even after a follow up email. Nick Hatch is not now operating under the CHES banner, but was at the time. I return to the US at the top of April at which time I will use best efforts to make news of this fraud, because that is what it is, spread as widely as I can.

Hatch Estates was very disappointing. They listed sterling necklace and it was stainless steel. they listed PIN and it had no attachment of pin or attachment for pendant. They listed sterling necklace, it was white metal and broken (which they pics did not show). they listed 8 pocketbooks but I only received 5, (they do not know what happened to the others and I have not received any compensation for this). Another necklace was broken which the pics did not show. Will never bid on any item again from this place.

The item I purchased was not available when I arrived to pick it up. I was told it went missing.
