These are recent modern lamps not true vintage MCM lamps. The shades were damaged but serviceable.
wonderful experience on the auction and auction manager ...She was great! TY
It was my first time bidding with the auction manager, Naomi, and my experience was overall very smooth. What I will say is, there was an undisclosed $15 handling fee on top of the shipping fee, which was no where advertised in the description. In addition, after the initial auction, there was no information of when the item would be shipped, and my two emails went on deaf ears. My item eventually arrived around 1 week after the auction, it was packed very safe, and was exactly as described. It was only a few days after my item arrived that I suddenly received a text requesting a normal shipping charge ($5.50) + handling fee paid to Naomi's business email, that I was shocked at just how high it was, when there was no mention or advertisement prior. With that, I would bid with Naomi again, however, as a first time buyer, I would have appreciated better communication, and upfront clarity regarding the high handling fee. It's almost like a bait and switch on the buyer when it's conveniently not disclosed - and many issues could be avoided if it was.
This was the most unorganized and unprofessional sale I've ever experienced. Got to pickup and items were scattered around the yard. Was told to wait because showing pictures on her phone was more important than helping a customer. Ended up not getting one item, never looked for it was told maybe someone walked off with it. Claimed she will refund it, never even asked me my name. I could have taken anything she wouldn't have known or cared. Let's see how long a refund takes. And item were outside so now my car smells like animal urine. THANKS
The agent brought out the items--listed at "MINT" condition in the post--and said, "This one broke. Is that okay?" Seriously? NO! I wouldn't have bid on it if it had listed that one was broken.
