Unfortunately, I'm positive this is NOT an original print by the Paul Jacoulet, but it is based on one of his prints. The initials of the "signature" are "CK 80", and there is no sign of his unique signature, nor is there his usual stamp. There is also a a printed section on the paper that says, "Copyright Ronbie Editions inc. 1980". It should be noted that Jacoulet died in 1960. Furthermore, the original print that this is based on does not have the distant mountains in the background. One final distinction is that the dimensions of this item do not match the original. While this is still a lovely print, it was misadvertised and most certainly will NOT be "...a prized acquisition for collectors and admirers of his (Paul Jacoulet's) work". While I didn't pay much to acquire this piece, I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to pick up my "prize" that is probably worth much less than I paid. That being said, the pick up process was easy and enjoyable.

Hi Vishnu, I see what you mean, and yes, while signed, it does not have the seal, and so this was a mischaracterization of the print, my mistake! While I think it's $27 still while spent, I will be sure to reimburse you entirely.
