The listing was fairly accurate; and overall, I was pleased with the item ... but communication from the Auction Manager (Margo Esparo) was beyond poor, almost to the point of rudeness. IF I received a response at all, it was abrupt and lacking ... and not only was I held in limbo regarding the shipment of my item, I was also left guessing as to how to remit the payment. My communication with Clearing House Estate Sales, though, was quick and resolving. As a person who is constantly stressed, I do understand, and take into account, that we've life stories which others aren't privy to ... so, in the rare event that an interaction has begun unpleasant, it has nearly always finished with a lean towards the positive. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. When aspects of a transaction will cause a Buyer to question the Seller's business ethics, he or she must simply walk away without further interaction or recommendation. I won't conduct business with this Auctioneer again.

I never recd important dimensions of items that were necessary for me to transport them. One photo of a complex item is the equivalent of no photo. I read MANY negative reviews elsewhere of this company, and simply, they operate the way they operate. There are far better auctions on Clearing House Estate Sales.

One of the glasses had been broken between the auction listing and the pick up. Margo was entirely transparent about the issue and solved the problem very equitably. Accidents happen all the time - it's the way they are handled after the fact that matters. I would have no hesitation purchasing through Margo again. Quality seller.

I'm very happy with my auction finds but even more delighted with every interaction I had. Multiple phone calls, changed mailing for pick up,came early... At every point I was met with graciousness and professionalism. Made for a lovely experience.

one great deal

Sellers dimensions were way off. Item was listed as 30 L x 30H x 20W. Was actually 24" long x 15" high x 12" wide. Nice item but I was expecting it to be much larger, was disappointed the listing was so inaccurate.

Showed up to pick up the item which was not curb ready. Treadmill was located in the basement and could not be taken out of the basement unless it was completely disassembled was not listed in the auction. Showed up with two strong guys to load but needed a mechanic to disassemble. All of this should have been posted in the auction. Will be looking for a complete refund.

It would be more helpful to include measurements and/or a familiar item, such as a soda can, in order to understand size better.

Not very happy w/ the auction manager Margo Esparo. She charged $30 to ship the item I won. It took forever to receive since she wrote the wrong address. Not only that she placed the item in an old box w/o any additional packing such as a plastic bag. The USPS postage on the box is $11. If she is charging premium for shipping and handling she should do a better job packing and take care to ensure address is correct. I wish I could post a photo for her to see since reading other review she will just write back, why I did not contact her. The item I wont cost $3 but her shipping charge was $30 which I doubt she would refund. I will not be purchasing from her future auction.
