I won the bid. When I picked it up, I did not check the guitar. Back to my home, I planned to replace a new set of strings and found out that the guitar was cracked at the bottom back. It's not usable. I sent the email to the auction manager, no response from her. After I sent the duplicate email to the auction house. She called me then said that was done deal. Condition of the guitar listed as "Consistent with age and use" Finally, I lost my money. I won several bids and some had problems but this is the first time I got the answer "That was done deal".

Mr. Tran: you did not check the guitar at the pickup. You had ample time to do so. Sounds like you've had this problem before. If you win any items in future auctions, I encourage you to examine the items you win before signing for them and taking them home, because once a customer has done that, it is indeed a "done deal".

When you tell winners that pick-up is in a private residence and it is at a storefront in a strip mall and you have no signage that even mentions where to turn and where to p/u...

Free tip: Dollar Tree sells large poster board for $1.25 and you can borrow or steal a marker from someone. You can make 2 signs from one board. They could actually give directions to winners if they included words, numbers, and arrows, you know. But I guess that's just too complicated.

Thanks for the tip, Fred. We're glad you found the pickup spot despite the lack of signs.
