Matsumoto Hozan Wisteria Vase- Appears To Be Repaired With Golden Cap. A Very Rare Meiji Period Piece. From Gothenburg website on Japanese Porcelains: 1562. Mark: Hozan, under the Yasuda trademark. When signed in full it reads Matsumoto Hozan. Some of his work is of very high quality. Measures: 6.375 tall, 1.625 at its top, and 2.375 inches at its base. The painting and gold trimming are all hand done with the finest of brush strokes. No identical pieces were found.
