Vintage sterling silver olive or mote spoon 8.25" long, no mono. There is a twist handle. The bowl is lightly gilt and decorated with repousse flowers and pierced with 4 Maltese crosses. Marked 925/1000 Sterling at base of handle. No maker's mark.
This spoon works well as an olive spoon. The antique mote spoon version was designed to strain tea leaves. The arrowhead shaped tip was used to clear tea leaves that stuck in teapots and could be used to spear olives, and other items. Condition is very good, no damage, no mono.
Notes: Good condition. See photos.
