This is an Antique Postal Scale that was made around 1920s, to measure the weight of letters and various mail so that the amount of postage could be accurately determined. We found one identical with an asking price of $175. Porcelain is chipped at the top. Measured in 500 gr (grams). The maker is ”M” with “CONCaV” as well. Some rusting to the brass and iron, steel. Cast iron base with brass adjusting screws.
Reference: 206-204
Measures: Height 9.75; width 7.5; depth 4.75 inches. Maybe lacking the ‘dish’ in which the items were placed.
Notes: Chips to enamel at the top, see photos, rusting to brass, steel and some bending of the aluminum dish.
