Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain krater shaped pot. The pot’s body sits on top of an ornate circular base. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed handles. The blue color of the vase is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting different classic Rococo scenes on each side, this vase shows a mythological scene and a landscape, executed in shades of green, grey and blue. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The pot measures 23 inches high by 15 inches wide and has never been used.
