a vintage DBX 117 Decilinear audio compressor/expander. This classic piece of audio equipment from DBX Inc., Waltham, Mass., is designed for enhancing sound quality by dynamically compressing or expanding the audio signal. The unit features a solid metal and wood housing, standard RCA inputs/outputs, and adjustable compression and expansion controls.

Condition: The unit shows light cosmetic wear, including minor scratches on the wood paneling (see photos for details). It has not been tested for functionality, so it is sold as-is. A great addition for collectors or audio enthusiasts seeking vintage sound gear.
