Vintage Armadillo Basket With Tail Handle

This unique vintage basket is crafted from a real armadillo, showcasing the intricate details of the animal’s natural shell and form. The armadillo basket includes a sturdy handle, and its interior provides ample space for small items or decorative use. A fascinating taxidermy art piece, this basket carries a history detailed in a label inside, noting its origin in southern Texas and association with American soldiers from World War I.
The armadillo’s natural form has been preserved and shaped into a functional basket, with a handle and open top for storage or display. The basket retains the original character of the armadillo’s textured shell.
