Antique Signed Oil Painting On Canvas Rural Cottage Scene With Cattle

This is a beautifully detailed antique oil painting on canvas depicting a serene rural village scene with a thatched-roof cottage, a cow standing on a winding dirt road, and an elderly woman near a red gate. The artist has captured the rustic charm of the countryside with warm, earthy tones and fine brushwork.

The painting is signed in the lower right corner, though the signature is somewhat faded. It is housed in a gilded wood frame, which shows some signs of age and wear, adding to its antique character. There is some paint loss and scuffing on the frame, as seen in photos, but the painting itself remains vibrant and well-preserved.

The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame, with an aged backing. A wonderful piece for collectors of vintage or early 20th-century artwork.
