Very Rare Vintage McIntosh C29 Solid State Stereo Preamplifier

This legendary McIntosh C29 SS preamp is an absolute beauty and pairs incredibly well with both Mac solid state amps as well as tube. In fact, many prefer a solid state preamp with their Mac tubers so that only the amplifier is minimally coloring the sound. The C29 also sports a speaker control socket to be used with the SCR2 Speaker Control Relay. Inputs galore with provision for (2) turntables (phono stage is excellent in the C29) CD player, streamer, mic input and or taping unit. The original Owner's Manual comes complete with this incredible vintage piece. Only the slightest signs of wear,.. a solid 8/9 really for age only. An absolutely fabulous preamp in every way.

According to what I have learned McIntosh C29 produced less units than C26, C28, and C32 Which may be the one of reason it is rare to find these units nowadays. Except for today! Comes with original box and paperwork. Also included is the mounting hardware
