Item Description

Every thing in this one including Magnum P.I. Lets start with two pieces of cardboard with loads of info on them. They look like the inserts that use to be in typewriter paper boxes. The first contains possible names of characters and a doodle of a woman tied to a chair! It also has the name of producer Aaron Spelling (Was she looking for Skye on TV even then?) It has the names of flowers, and then at the very bottom info on my 7th or 8th birthday party, a doodle of a ballon and a mountain with another possible character name. The second is smaller and has a doodle of a dress and a lot of info about the types of people that would be in a wedding from tiger walkers to footmen. Also more possible character names. Also, two doodles of what appear to be two rooms. We also have 3 photo copied pages of research including “Curiosities of London” and more. We also have a vintage sheet sent by the publisher with hook or tag lines for advertising for the book, my mom chose her favorite and circled it with some other corrections. We also have a typical menu for the time for a fancy dinner, a bunch of hand written research notes including what a farm would look like back then as well as some character notes. That’s just on the left side of the folder. On the right you have a cover and a piece of an article from TV guide in 1981 featuring Tom Selleck, whom I assume she was basing the appearance of someone in the book on, handwritten promo stuff she was writing for the book, 6 pages on three pieces of paper of HANDWRITTEN edits to the book, another character list, more hand written food info as well as historical info, A map of Wyndsong Island that she wrote “map for Unconquered” on, two more maps, handwritten note on slave quarters who was in what room, how many etc, more handwritten notes on St. Petersburg with trip details from other areas, a pic of St. Petersburg for reference, hand written info on the dutch and dutch character names, pages from a supernatural encyclopedia, a directory of the Ancestral heads of New England families from 1620-1700, and last but not least, a hand written piece that was an “interview” piece for a Romance books magazine at the time. Wow. The ultimate companion to the book, with a lot of weird stuff!
