Primitive Wood Butter Box, Country Store

YES, in-house shipping is available. This is a true find, an antique country store BUTTER BOX made of wood with original iron straps and fold down top handle for easy carrying. The name "MOSS & HILLYARDS SECTIONAL BUTTER CASE" still visible on the printed wood, made in Augusta Maine with a pat. Date 1898. Clean wood interior, dovetail corners, the spring wire openers are present (one needs to be tacked back on the left side (see pics). Easy fix for a wonderful antique primitive piece to display or use for storage.
