Vintage butter keeper, French crock with original wooden knob on the top, marked DOWAN on the underside, a collector piece used for butter with the bell interior. Pretty robins egg blue glazed jar to use on your table.

Notes: very good with no chips, no cracks, the wooden knob has lost its finish from use but is intact, paint or shellac
