Antique Solid Brass Slug Box Sad Iron

Interesting solid brass antique sad iron with a back door that you slip a "slug" into to warm the iron. Usually the slug is iron or soapstone and made to contour the iron shape. Good looking original piece with pretty brass, door opens and closes as it should. No slug. Nice primitive piece for display check it out.
