The Owner's of this Estate were life long collectors as he was a Geologist and she ...view morewas an amazing Estes Park potter. The owner was instrumental in opening the Orphan Mine in Arizona in the 1950's when Uranium deposits were found. They traveled extensively and collected in Arizona, California, Wyoming, Mexico and Asia. Their travels in the early 1950's - 1970's took them from the Grand Canyon to Guerrero and Northern Mexico, the Yukon, California, the Appalachian Mountains to Asia, Africa and Spain where they acquired many of the mineral specimens in their collection. The items they acquired along the way are one of a kind and have been in their home for the past 60-70 years. He was part of every major geological boom including Uranium, Gold and Minerals and then moving into gas and oil in the 70's. There are extensive maps and geological surveys including ore, gold, mineral, oil and gas for numerous States including Arizona, California, Wyoming, Utah, Montana and more. Some of these maps are highly informative. The historical books and maps in this sale are extensive.
There will be two parts to this sale as there is an extensive vintage and antique glassware collection and a silver coin collection along with antique furniture, maps and books, antique photographs, jewelry and more.

This Auction is a non-ship auction. There are some higher end items in this auction. If your sales totals are above 250.00 you will be required to show an ID matching your credit card ...view moreand address prior to picking up your items. You will not be able to send someone else to pickup your items.
This auction is in a mountain location which is somewhat remote so pickup will be scheduled to reduce wait times.
Please plan on picking up your items on the day and time specified for buyer pickup. If you are unable to pick up your items on the designated day, please contact us prior to bidding to confirm if another pickup time is available.
Winning Bidders will be required to bring help to move heavy or large items such as furniture. Packing materials will be the responsibility of the buyer. If you need assistance in getting your items in your vehicle, there will be at 25.00 per item charge. Items over 100 pounds can be up to 200.00 charge based on requirements.
• There are many delicate specimens in this sale so please bring packing as we do not provide any type of moving, packing or transporting of purchased items.
