Item Description

A set of 3 Chinese Export Rose Medallion dinner plates, each 9 5/8"across. Two are marked with just 'China' dating them from 1890-1915 and one with 'Made in China' which was added after 1915. Each plate shows a bird with leaves and flower in the central medallion surrounded by 4 panels. Two panels show a traditional scene of people while the other two show birds and flowers. Additional decorations include butterflies and scrolls enclosing each panel. All plates are skillfully hand painted and in good condition with no chips or cracks. There may be minor paint loss in some spots as expected from age and use.
