Framed linocut, signed in pencil by the artist.
Measures 11" x 13.5", good condition.
Samuel Miller was a Baptist minister who served congregations throughout New Jersey, as well as the Old Cambridge Baptist Church in Cambridge, MA. He was also a Professor at Andover Newton Theological School and Harvard Divinity School, where he eventually served as Dean from 1959 to 1968. In addition, Miller was an artist who worked in painting, modeling, stained glass, and linocut.
